Re. 1.00 commemorative postal stamp

In the year 1991, Heart Care Foundation of India organized first ever Run for your Heart on December 11, 1991, Government of India earmarked the occasion by releasing the Re. 1.00 commemorative postal stamp released by Shri Narsimha Rao the then Prime Minister of India.  The stamp depicts the heart with people of all age groups running. The aim of this is to create a phenomenal awareness about the usefulness of daily exercise including running and Jogging.



Heart Foundation of India was Founded in 1986 as a National Charitable Trust with the basic objective of creating awareness about all aspcets of health for people from all walks of life incorporating all pathies incorporating low cost infotainment modeules under one roof.
