New Delhi July 27th Monday 2009 HCFI: Walking is a great exercise. It can burn calories and is fairly easy to perform. But if one is bored with it one can go for alternatives said Dr KK Aggarwal President Heart Care Foundation of India and Director IMAAKN Sinha Institute.

Take a swim.
Sign up for a water aerobics class.
Take a dance class.
Sign up for an aerobics or yoga class.
Hop on a bike and start pedaling, whether it's outdoors or on a stationary bike.
Use an elliptical machine.
Work out with some light weight lifting.
Exercise with a hula-hoop
Jump rope.
